Plot

Tarunika is married to Gunaseelan. Their marriage takes a setback when Gunaseelan is arrested in a sex scandal and corruption case. Now, Tarunika has to decide whether to go back to her law profession. If she goes back, she will have to join as an associate advocate to Hari Deepak, her ex-lover. What did she decide? Was she able to manage her children and restart her profession?

Star Performance

Priyamani excels in the role of a woman who returns to her profession after a sabbatical. Sampath is okay in his role. Aari has done what was required of him.

Analysis

It is basically about a stay-at-home mom who was once in a high-profile job. When delving deeper, it focuses on the complications in the judicial system. It showcases how the affected woman tries to make herself up from the present odds. The series showcases the court proceedings in detail, which have not been shown in courtroom dramas so far. The series has some interesting scenes that are worth noting, but they are short-lived. When we feel for Traunika’s character for being betrayed, she crosses it easily, and plans her next. There are some societal drawbacks that are shown strongly. The forced egg donation from young girls is new. The series starts slow and takes time to establish the characters and the basic plot. A fast-paced screenplay could’ve helped to establish it better.
